Our Story — Luminens
Lmines began with a feeling — the quiet kind you notice only when a space feels right.
Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s honest.
The idea took shape in Québec, where long winters slow time and interiors become places of reflection. We watched furniture trends rise and disappear — glossy, identical, disposable. But what stayed with us were spaces that aged with grace: weathered wood, raw textures, subtle irregularities. Spaces that felt lived in, not staged.
That search led us to wabi-sabi — the Japanese philosophy that honors simplicity, imperfection, and the quiet beauty of natural form.
We founded Lmines with a simple intention: to offer pieces that feel human.
Objects that ground a room rather than dominate it.
Furniture that supports daily life — in a family home, a café, a boutique hotel, a spa, or a quiet Airbnb — without asking for attention.
Every collection we curate follows the same principles:
natural materials, soft asymmetry, earth-toned palettes, and finishes that allow time to leave its mark. Nothing forced. Nothing overly refined. Just enough restraint to let the material speak.
Lmines isn’t about filling rooms.
It’s about shaping spaces that breathe — slowly, honestly, and with purpose.
